Dale Pinnock, leading UK Medicinal Cookery expert and TV nutritionist/chef, will be coming to the Nutrition Centre store on Bath Road in Cheltenham on Monday, September 3 (2-4pm) to share poignant health advice with the public for the back to school season as well as for other important health matters in the weeks ahead, including ways to tackle winter blues and tips for winter skin care.
He will also be available to sign copies of his two acclaimed books, Medicinal Cookery and Clear Skin.
Daleis a regular guest on national TV and radio including ITVs Lorraine and the Alan Titchmarsh Show - imparting his in-depth knowledge of nutrition and his unique wisdom of prescriptive medicinal cookery, which tailors bespoke menus to meet individuals specific health needs. He also works also as a wholefoods chef and is currently studying for aMasters Degree in Nutritional Medicineat the University of Surrey.
Drawing on his wide experience of nutritional health, Dales mission is to help people have a healthier life by making better informed health choices. To this end, he works closely with the Nutrition Centre, Gloucestershires leading pioneer for nutritional health and organic skin care and beauty which has four shops in Gloucestershire.
I enjoy working with the Nutrition Centre, Dale says, because were both in the business of helping people to lead healthier, happier lives by educating them to make more conscientious choices about what they eat and ways they treat their bodies and skin. This is what I will be doing at the Nutrition Centre store on Monday acting as a resource for any of the public that fancy coming to get some of my advice firsthand for looking after their diet, health and skin in the coming colder months.
While Dale works directly with many GPs, specialists, and academics in the healthcare field and respects the importance of conventional medical advice, he is also keen to empower individuals by encouraging them to take certain elements of their healthcare into their own hands. But his approach is certainly not to undermine the importance of receiving treatment from a doctor.
Im very aware there is a lot of quackery and fairytales in this field, Dale says. My mission is to bevocal and passionateabout what works, and why, and to weed out that which is nothing more than science fiction, to give you, the people who need this information the most real picture.
