The Gloucester Quays Food Festival 2014 takes place from Friday 18th July through to Sunday 20th July. Celebrity chefs including, expert baker and TV favourite, Paul Hollywood and, much-loved celebrity chef, James Martin will be wowing fans in the Aga Rangemaster Cookery Theatre. Both chefs will host a series of hands-on live cookery demonstrations in the Cookery Theatre, where guests will be able to pick up insider tips and recipe ideas from the experts, across the three-day event.

Kicking off the weekend in style is the ‘Taste of Gloucestershire’ Day, a day that pays homage to the local delicacies of the area. The Friday foodie celebration will see local farmers and artisans showcase their finest selections for all to see and of course taste, plus there will be ‘The Great Gloucestershire Cake Off’ baking competition, live cooking demos from top regional chefs, and a recipe tree; offering visitors the chance to hang family recipes on our special tree.

What’s more, this year, the festival welcomes its NEW child-friendly foodie area, a Kids’ Cookery School! With everything from entertainment and education to cookery classes and of course tasty treats, the Kids’ Cookery School is ideal for keeping children amused over the bank holiday weekend. Helping them to learn about nutritional food and its benefits, kids can learn how to cook scrumptious, healthy dishes from scratch, with 45-minute sessions taking place throughout the day, across the weekend.

With over 80 tempting food and drink stalls, boasting the finest seasonal produce from around the county and even further afield.
