Farmer turns popstar

Oxfordshire Farmer Colin Dawes put down his pitch fork for a day and picked up a microphone, all in the duty of making a video with his staff to thank his customers for their loyal service and wish them a happy Christmas.

Every year Foxbury Farm, Burford Road, Brize Norton organises something special for their customers from a Pig Roast to a useful Christmas gift. This year Colin and his family Di, Rebecca and Stuart decided to do something very different in the form of a video which sees all the staff singing, dancing and carrying out their daily tasks.

This video was mailed out to customers last Sunday and has taken the Dawes family completely by surprise as it has gone viral and had over 50,000 hits on twitpic and Youtube.

Colin says he will not be giving up his daytime job as a farmer, Customers have suggested the staff audition for X factor next year as the Singing Farmers, although they would not expect them to win.
