Global Footsteps, the Cheltenham charity which runs a caf and fair trade shop in the town, is celebrating the completion of renovations to their headquarters at 16 Portland Street. Martin Horwood MP will be re-opening the caf at 4pm on Thursday, October 4. The celebrations will go on until 7pm, and anyone is welcome to drop in during that time to find out more about the work of the charity, take a tour of the building, and benefit from 10% off prices of all stock. There is also food and entertainment, and admission is free.

Alison Crane, trustee, says, "We are very pleased with the work we have done to the building it is transformed and will allow us to make full use of the space for meetings and events as well as the cafe and shop. The renovations are to a high environmental standard, including insulation and solar panels, and heated by an air source heat pump. It demonstrates what can be done to improve a typical Regency-style Cheltenham building. We hope to welcome customers old and new at the celebration."

For more information contact Alison Crane (trustee) 01242 577671 or 07886 972319.
