Vintage cabaret gives Cirencester a taste of classic musical entertainment

The Mary Lou Revue will take place on Friday, November 15 in Cirencester, and is an all singing all dancing event, hosted by compere crooner Mr Slim Ditty and cabaret dancer Miss Mary Lou.
The show is a celebration of the golden era of musical entertainment, featuring song and dance numbers from the 1920s, 30s, 40s and 50s performed by professional dance artist Marie-Louise Flexen and professional swing singer Steve Skinley, accompanied live by the 11-piece J J Swing Band (www.swingband.fsnet.co.uk).
Special guests for the night include burlesque artist ‘Kitty Ribbons’ (www.kittyribbons.co.uk), ‘Lady She’ (www.sheuniquevintage.com) and her glamour girls as well as Tattoo Tilly, on hand to provide temporary tattoos, and Chocolate Girl who will be offering some chocolate treats.
Set within the historic Barn Theatre in Cirencester with friendly staff and a fully licensed bar, it promises to be ‘a bit of a do’.
