Thousands lined the streets of Chipping Campden today to watch as the Olympic Torch was carried through the Cotswold town.

Being the birthplace of the Cotswold Olimpicks, 'Robert Dover' (aka Father John Brennan) rode on horseback ahead of the 2012 torch, while performers entertained the crowds as they waited to be part of this historic event.

Among those honoured to bear the torch through Chipping Campden were Gloucester Scout master Andy Martin, Gloucester-based Biomedical Scientist Julie Darwin and American Thomas Kozlowicz.
