Guests were thrilled to view the exhibits in place for Crucible, an exhibition of 76 works of art by 48 sculptors including household names like Damien Hirst and Antony Gormley. The Honourable Company of Gloucestershire, registered in December 2007, is a company limited by guarantee. Its origins emanate from the former Lord-Lieutenants idea that the county would benefit from the efforts, thoughts and influences of an association of members, committed to upholding the traditions and history of Gloucestershire, ensuring that the countys achievements in innovation, creativity and excellence are widely recognised and celebrated.

Based on a livery company, with Warden, Assistant Warden, Junior Warden and Clerk and run by a Court (or board) of 12 directors, the company maintains a maximum of 125 members. For more information visit: http://www.honcoglos.co.uk/
