Tewkesbury Choral Society Presents Elijah by Mendelssohn Conducted by John Holloway

A glittering evening of classical music is set for the evening of Saturday 14th May, starting at 7.30pm in Tewkesbury Abbey. John Holloway, the new Musical Director of Tewkesbury & District Choral Society will be conducting his second performance

A glittering evening of classical music is set for the evening of Saturday 14th May, starting at 7.30pm in Tewkesbury Abbey. John Holloway, the new Musical Director of Tewkesbury & District Choral Society will be conducting his second performance with the Society. The Society will be joined by professional soloists to perform Felix Mendelssohns Elijah.


Set to be a fantastic evening, John Holloway conducts, with the dramatic sound of The Chameleon Arts Orchestra accompanying. Soloists performing are Dani May as Soprano, Janet Shell Mezzo Soprano, Jeff Stewart Tenor and Baritone Andrew Mayor taking the lead role of Elijah.

Tickets for the concert are 15 for adults, schoolchildren are free. They can be obtained from The Abbey Shop or on the door
