Guests at Riley Contemporary Art, Far Peak, Northleach beat off the winter chill with wine and canapes while perusing a collection of works by Gloucestershire based artists Caroline Elkington, Michael Lythgoe and Michael Edwards. Michael Edwards work included paintings from recent trips to Argentina and the Mediterranean.

Many of Caroline Elkington's recent canvasses were inspired by the produce of her garden and Mike Lythgoe's carvings of birds and fish are stylised combinations of wood and wire, often on a driftwood base.

Other treats at this exhibition were bronzes by internationally acclaimed sculptors Terence Coventry, Geoffrey Dashwood and Priscilla Hann many of which were cast at the Pangolin Foundry at Chalford, near Stroud.
