On Sunday September 11, the picturesque Beaufort Polo Club in Gloucestershire will host industry charity, Hospitality Actions second annual polo day. The day will include dishes prepared by four outstanding regional chefs: Michael Croft of Calcot Manor, Martin Burge of Whatley Manor, Hywell Jones of Lucknam Park and Sam Moody of Bath Priory. Last year Hospitality Action spent over 67,000 assisting hospitality workers in desperate need in the South West.
The day will begin with a champagne reception on the lawns of the club before a mouth-watering three-course lunch. Grandstand seats will be reserved for guests to watch the six-goal Sidebottom Cup before ending the day with a delicious afternoon tea.
A place at the Hospitality Action polo day is the ideal introduction to this beautiful sport. The thrill and excitement of the game of polo coupled with the delicious food will provide the perfect day for all whilst raising vital funds for the charity. Tickets are priced at just 90 per person or 850 for a table of ten, which includes the three-course lunch and wine.
Michael Croft, Calcot Manor's Chef-Director says: Our polo day in September will see a great team work in aid of Hospitality Action both on and off the field. The polo teams of four players coming together for this very specialone-off occasion will be echoedin the kitchen by a team of four 'six-goal' chefs pulling alongside one another also!"
