Friends, family and special guests enjoyed the preview night of the John Piper exhibition in Blenheim Palaces Long Library. Piper, who died in 1992, is a renowned neo-romantic artist with a deep-rooted love of English architecture. The exhibition focuses on his depictions of Blenheim Palace while exploring the interlinking strains of his Oxfordshire connections, his writing, his architectural drawings and paintings of other country houses, as well as some
of his collaborative work, such as ceramics created with Geoffrey Eastop, who attended
the preview.
