Aficiandos of the horse in general, and hunting and the racing game in particular, beat a path to the door of Riley Contemporary Art at Far Peak, Northleach, at their Celebration of the Horse exhibition.


Guests enjoyed wine and canapes while admiring paintings and prints by former Master of Foxhounds Daniel Crane, international polo player Eddie Kennedy, former jump jockey Alexander Charles-Jones and acclaimed sporting artists Jeremy Houghton and Robin Watt.


Also on show were ceramics by Linee Hill, bronzes by Priscilla Hann, also a former Master of Foxhounds and Terence Coventry, an exhibitor at the Venice Biennale.
