Guests enjoyed a private viewing of Absurd food for thought an exhibition by Richard Woods at the Burlington Gallery in Cheltenham.

Richard is a local artist who graduated from The University of Gloucestershire in 2008. His works are a dark take on contemporary issues, recently focussing on the recession and binge-drinking culture.

This latest exhibition depicts current issues with Messrs Cameron and Clegg Cutting Corners and a provocative canvas Riot depicting the recent student protests.

Others entitled Endless Shift, Made of Money and The Job Searcher were sure to give the viewer much food for thought.
