The Rotary Club of Faringdon and District is holding a Duck Race on Sunday, April 28 at 2pm.

ROSY (Respite for Oxfordshires Sick Youngsters) will be one of the charities benefiting from money raised at this event.

It will be a great day out for all the family and fun. Everyone buying a ticket for 1, will have a duck entered in the race. Those attending the event will be able to use all the facilities at Millets Farm and then watch the Duck Race, which takes place at 2.00pm on a small stretch of the River Ock where it passes through Millets Farm Centre.

George Hedges of ROSY has tickets to sell and can be contacted on 01865 375 251. Tickets are 1 each. Every ticket has a serial number, which will be pained onto the bottom of a plastic duck and entered into the race. Good cash prizes are available.

Tickets will be on sale at Millets the two weekends before the race as well as during the weekend itself.

Come and bring the family, have a fun day out and help raise money for some special local charities.
