A highlight of the annual Christmas concert held in the magnificent Tewkesbury Abbey was the selection of rousing choral performances by Tewkesbury Abbey Schola Cantorum, conducted by Benjamin Nicholas and accompanied by organist Carleton Etherington.
The congregation also enjoyed readings by The Reverend Steve Short and Cotswold Life editor Mike Lowe. Guest speaker Paul Moss, Professor of Haematology and Head of the School of Cancer Sciences at the University of Birmingham, provided a fascinating update on the pioneering work the charity is helping to facilitate.

Prior to the concert supporters enjoyed a mince pie and wine reception in the Parish Hall. Over 2000 was raised for Cancer Research UK.
