Bruton Knowles salutes 150 years in Gloucestershire at civic reception

Friends and associates of Bruton Knowles gathered to celebrate 150 years of professional property advice at a civic reception held in Gloucesters historic Blackfriars Priory.

Guests included the Lord Lieutenant of Gloucester, Sheriff and Deputy Mayor of Gloucester, and representatives from the regions academic and cultural communities, who were hosted by managing partner Patrick Downes and Nick Millard, chairman of partners at Bruton Knowles. To mark the occasion, a book detailing the firms long and colourful history was launched at the reception with each guest treated to a complementary copy of the 46-page publication.

A large wall projection of images featuring photographs of Bruton Knowles staff, clients and projects from the nineteenth century to more modern times was also displayed throughout the evening. Patrick Downes said: It is a huge achievement for the partnership to have reached this milestone and a reflection of Bruton Knowles ability to adapt to changing times and continuously improve its service offering. Blackfriars Priory has provided a wonderfully atmospheric venue to thank both friends and associates for all their loyal support. Bruton Knowles has always been proud of its Gloucestershire roots.
