Staff, parents and pupils, past and present enjoyed a ball at Berkeley Castle to mark Berkeley Primary Schools centenary. The school building has been in Marybrook Street for 100 years, beginning life as a secondary school, before changing to a primary in the 1960s.
It has been at the centre of community life in Berkeley for many years and the ball marked the beginning of a month long schedule of events to celebrate its history and its future. Guests enjoyed a buffet and live band in the sumptuous surroundings of Berkeley Castle.
