Chris Baylis, founder and proprietor of The Real Wood Furniture Company, has always had a keen eye for art and has been holding monthly exhibitions within one of his 14 showrooms as part of the art in the furniture store initiative. The forthcoming exhibition in April sees the return of the local watercolourist Rod Craig, who has now enjoyed successful exhibitions worldwide. In Rods last one-man show at The Real Wood Furniture Company in 2012, he achieved sales of 16 original pieces, a testament to the excellence of his spectacular watercolours, ink drawings and photographic works.

The exhibition will showcase images from Woodstock and Blenheim and will be celebrated with a preview party on Friday, April 5 from 6.30-9.30pm where there will be live music, unusual furniture pieces, wine, nibbles and the chance to chat to the artist.

The exhibition will be up for a month, until Thursday, May 2 and can been viewed at The Real Wood Furniture Company, London House, Oxford Street, Woodstock, Oxfordshire, OX20 1TS, tel: 01993 813887,www.rwfco.com
