The historic village streets of Painswick and its famous churchyard once again played host to the third annual Art Couture Festival. Local traders stalls lined the streets which saw thousands of visitors flock to the weekend event.

With a mix of fashion shows, live music, body art displays and street theatre, the sun shone on the event, formerly known as Wearable Art Painswick. Competitors from all over the country took part in catwalk shows, including one hosted by Mondo of Cheltenham, to show off their talent and imagination.

The whole village was involved, from stalls in the Painswick Centre to music and catwalk stages in the churchyard, which also had a larger than life stiletto shoe among the gravestones. Competitors aged between three and 98 took part in the fashion shows which were judged by celebrities from the film and fashion world.
