40 years for Bourton Probus Club

The Bourton-on-the-Water Probus Club for retired PROfessional and BUSiness men celebrated their 40th Anniversary with a lunch at The Old Manse Hotel in the centre of the village. The chairman of the parish council attended and was proud to acknowledge such a long and active existence for the club which had met twice a month in the village throughout the period. Although a club for retirees, it reminds us that its not really the years in your life that count but the life in your years. To add an exotic flavour to the lunch it was concluded with a stand-up cabaret of magic and a good time was had by all!
