Four years in the making, Cotswold TV is officially launched

Local multimedia company Furry Feet TV have brought massive development together to launch what they have labelled ‘the completed Cotswold TV’.
Held at Whatley Manor, near Malmesbury, the producer of Cotswold TV Tom Wakefield officially switched on the new online TV channel and showcased the new commercial in the venue’s luxury cinema.
Addressing the captive audience of stars, supporters, clients and contributors to Cotswold TV, Tom stated, “The evolution of our Furry Feet TV project has been a one off massive development, trial and error to what today, we are proud to title the local TV channel for the Cotswolds.
“Cotswold TV strives to engage a local audience with genuine community coverage, feel good news and local events whilst weaving in the paid for features of local business. “Our blend of non-profit charity coverage along with business editorial has created a model that can sustain a local television format without the need for pre-roll commercials,” added Tom
The Furry Feet TV team’s PR stunt mascots have also made their way into the Cotswold TV brand with ‘Frank’ the green furry alien taking centre stage in the new website and promotional literature for the company.
Focused on local television content, Cotswold TV now use their large archives of past event coverage to promote upcoming, similar events and encourage other local media companies to make use of the videos. The ability to add videos to their own websites using the video embed button on Cotswold TV allows everyone to make use of their coverage.
Moving forward into the summer Cotswold TV have a new mobile studio with on-location days planned across the Cotswolds, allowing local people to have their say on local TV… so keep your eye out for the big silver paw print brand now so familiar in the Cotswolds.
