Have you ever felt like life is passing you by? If so, you are not alone... and now a budding film maker from Stroud is putting his take on the proverbial 'mid-life crisis' on screen in a move to raise money for Charity.

Filming for Dad Dancing, a short film by Domonic White, begins on the 6 th November at the Great Tythe Barn in Tetbury. The film, which is to raise money for The Prostate Cancer Charity, is a heart-warming comedy about the inevitable onset of middle age and some of the challenges it brings.

Having had great fun participating in last years Movember fund raising event for The Prostate Cancer Charity, keen amateur film maker Domonic White decided that this year he would try to raise more money by bringing one of his short film ideas to life. Domonic is teaming up with local photographer Matthew Bigwood and many other talents from the Stroud area to produce the film, which also includes an original score composed by Alecx Cutter from Arpeggio Creative.

"We wanted to make another short film and raise money for a good cause at the same time, so with the storyline and the characters involved in Dad Dancing, we felt that 'Movember' and its support of The Prostate Cancer Charity was a good fit." Domonic said.

The film is also hoping for a guest appearance from Emma Samms, star of Dynasty, with the lead being played by James Payton, who played Frank Longbottom in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and Hitler in the recent box office hit Captain America'.

All cast and crew are volunteering their time and travel for free, and the team from The Great Tythe Barn in Tetbury have generously offered their venue to be used for the project.

Volunteers are still needed for the final dance scene which needs as many extras as possible. Brass bands, circus animals, dance troops all acts considered!
