Telecommunications partnership with Lister to take Forest Green Rovers to the top of their game

PUBLISHED: 19:16 20 August 2013 | UPDATED: 19:16 20 August 2013

Forest Green Rovers FC has signed a deal with Lister Communications in a move which will see a variety of benefits for both fans and within the organisation of the club. Lister Communications will be developing the highest standard of telecoms as they demonstrate their distinct approach to establishing reliable and effective systems. A great service for club supporters will be the new telephone and text message ticketing provision. Then while the eyes of the fans are on the ball, two-way radio for the ground and support staff will ensure things run smoothly on match days.

Dane Vince, Business Development Manager of Forest Green Rovers, believes a commitment to professionalism off the pitch is a key aspect of the club’s ambition to climb into the football league. He says, “We’re looking to how the club runs at all levels. Our heart is in it to rise to the top and providing the best service we can to our supporters and being efficient in our staff and business communication is a vital part of helping to make that happen.”

Simon Gardner, Manager of Business Solutions at Lister Communications is excited about extending the company’s market reach. He says, “As Gloucestershire’s leading business to business telecoms provider we already have a reputation for the quality of our service but this is a timely opportunity to bring together the diversity of what we can provide to businesses. There has been a lot of recent innovation in telecommunications and Forest Green Rovers FC are a great partner for us to share this with.”

Lister Communications are also sponsoring a number of business networking events which will be hosted at the stadium. The excellent conferencing facilities reflect the club’s creative outlook and include Britain’s first environmentally sustainable menu as an option. With two businesses with such clear ideas on making big things happen, the partnership is a match made in heaven.
