There’s a wide range available, in many different sizes, from the traditionally scented Norway Spruce to the more resilient Nordman Fir with its reduced needle dropping qualities. The Nursery at Miserden is set in an historic kitchen garden in a magical spot in the Cotswold Hills and they’ve been selling an extensive range of beautiful Christmas trees for more than 20 years. From December 1, The Nursery at Miserden will be offering Nordmann Fir, Norway Spruce, Fraser Fir and Blue Spruce trees, in sizes ranging from 3ft to 12ft as well as hand-crafted wreaths and stunning seasonal pot plants. In the beautiful café, converted from an old glasshouse vinery, you will find exceptional Christmas decorations and seasonal gifts. Here, delicious coffee and seasonal food can be enjoyed whilst staying toasty next to the woodburning stoves. Enjoy the festive season at Trioscape. Santa’s Grotto opens on Saturday, December 1, then every weekend in December (Saturdays 10.30am – 4.00pm and Sundays 11.00am – 3.30pm), plus Christmas Eve. Smart Trees’ 20-acre Christmas Tree Plantation has grown and sold Christmas trees for over 20 years.

Families make their annual trip for a fun-filled day starting with choosing a freshly cut tree, a wreath or garland, and a visit to Father Christmas in his Grotto. Young and old enjoy catching the falling snow, pausing for a photo in the sleigh, completing the 12 days of Christmas Treasure Hunt and meeting a herd of reindeer.

Children can burn off some energy in the outdoor play area and the whole family can recharge in the Reindeer Café. Warm up next to the wood burner and browse the decorations, gifts, clothing, toys and more in the Christmas Shop ‘Caribou’.

On November 10, the Reindeer Cafe & Caribou opens: Tuesday-Sunday 10-3pm and the Christmas tree sale starts on November 28, open seven days a week.
