Winner – Lumière, Cheltenham
Nestled in the heart of Cheltenham on Clarence Parade, Lumiere is run by chef Jon Howe and his wife Helen. Their modern British cuisine is created from locally sourced, seasonal ingredients – with a focus on ethically and sustainably reared produce. Punctuating the relaxed, contemporary setting you can expect to find crisp white tablecloths, Rieldel stemware and Wedgewood plates. In addition to a passion for creating excellent food packed with bold flavours, Lumiere has a knowledgeable team on hand who strive to ensure their customers have a memorable fine dining experience.
Judges enjoyed their dining experience at Lumière. They were impressed by the attentiveness and knowledge of the staff and the interesting options that the menu offered. Judges also commented that the food was very well presented; in fact it looked too good to eat.
