Butcher of the Year
Winner – Andy Creese Butchers, Newent
Andy Creese Butchers is a traditional family butchers shop selling a wide range of products, the majority of which are sourced locally. In the shop you will always find an enticing selection of fresh meats, sausages, burgers, bacon and cheeses on display. Many of the products are made on the premises, such as ready meals, faggots, pies, sausage rolls, scotch eggs and pates. Andy Creese Butchers also offer a private processing service to farmers who wish to have their own stock butchered and provide a reliable service to several local restaurants, nursing homes, schools and pubs.
Judges commended Andy Creese Butchers on their service and both the quality and quantity of the products available. They were impressed with the excellently stocked shop, which has recently undergone a major refurbishment, and noted Andy’s connections with the local community.
