Tudor Farmhouse launches ‘free lunch offer’ celebrating new toll-free River Severn crossing

The hotel in Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire is offering free lunch or afternoon tea for the first ten that book for December 19
Its not long now until crossing the River Severn Estuary via the M4 or M48 will incur no charge and to celebrate, Tudor Farmhouse in Gloucestershire’s Forest of Dean is offering a free lunch or afternoon tea to the first ten diners that book for Wednesday, December 19 and a further 50% off for everyone else that books in advance for that day. Bookings for this promotion open at 10:00am on Tuesday, November 27 and to qualify, you must quote TOLLFREE.
Although both bridges turn toll-free on December 17, there will be alternate bridge closures while the booths are removed and other tweaks made to ensure a smooth transition. With both open and toll-free from December 19, a free lunch or afternoon tea at Tudor Farmhouse and an additional £5.60 to pocket sounds good to us!
The hotel is easily accessible via the original Severn Crossing on the M48 before heading north for just 30 minutes. The first ten diners to book (maximum party of four to qualify) will enjoy a free lunch (with the choice of 2/3 courses as well as a special tasting menu) or afternoon tea.
And with just days to go until Christmas, this is the perfect excuse to get together with friends before the big day to indulge in a mid-week festive lunch, all created by head chef Rob Cox, who recently won South West Chef of the Year award.
This offer is on a first come basis, must be pre- booked and does not include drinks. Lunch rates usually cost from £25pp for two courses, £30pp for three or £40 for the tasting menu. Afternoon tea is priced from £15pp.
The hotel has also just been named as Country Hotel of the Year by the prestigious Good Hotel Guide; an independent guide to the best hotels in Britain and Ireland.
