The Cotswold Life Food & Drink Awards is undoubtedly one of the biggest events in the Cotswold calendar. The awards are designed to champion, highlight and offer a showcase to the good and the great from the region’s food and drink industry, including local producers and suppliers, small farming businesses, chefs, restaurants, pubs and hoteliers, and people who care about the countryside and the future of our local environment.

We are very pleased to announce that Adam Henson will compere this year’s awards. Drawing on a wealth of farming knowledge, Adam is a regular on BBC Countryfile each week and has just finished a very successful series of Nigel and Adam’s Farm Kitchen on BBC One set at Old Farm Dorn in Moreton-in-Marsh.

The companies nominated are all voted for by you, our readers. We want to know if you’ve received a fantastic meal at your local pub or have been impressed by the stallholders at your farmers’ market or farm shop. The recognition the awards offer make a substantial impact to local businesses and there has never been a better time to support your local community.

How to nominate

Nomination forms are available in the March and April issues.

Judging

Our judges look for the quality of the nominations rather than quantity and once entries have closed on Friday, April 18, our independent panel will then select three finalists in each category using strict criteria and visit each venue to select a winner.

All of the finalists will be invited to the prestigious awards ceremony on July 7 where they will find out if they are a winner.
