Cotswold Life Food & Drink Awards - Drinks Product of the Year Award

This was your opportunity to nominate your favourite drinks product aside from ale beer or cider that is made by a Cotswold farmer, producer, retailer or manufacturer. We announce this year’s worthy winner

The Cotswold Life Food & Drink Awards are one of the biggest events in the local calendar and it is hugely anticipated by the region’s food and drink industry all year round.

We champion the best local producers, suppliers and businesses that are passionate about the Cotswold countryside and the future of our local environment.

Thanks to both the nominations of the public and our well-respected judges, we have picked a winner worthy of the ‘Drinks Product of the Year’, sponsored Winkworth.

This year’s finalists

Classic Cuvée, Three Choirs Vineyard, Newent

Judges were impressed with Classic Cuvée. It has a 3 to 4 year aging process and the whole method is done on site. The fruit is grown, picked, fermented, bottled and labelled using traditional methods. It was said to be refreshing and had a crisp taste.

Elderflower Liqueur, Gibson’s Organic Liqueurs, Westwell

The Elderflower Liquor was described as fantastic and great value for money. Very simple, yet incredibly delicious and the owner said to be extremely passionate about what he does, having a lot pride in his product.

And the winner is...

Pear juice, Bentleys, Newent

Judges praised the Pear Juice for having no added products or preservatives. With a flavoursome taste and striking packaging, judges commented that it was a drink that can be enjoyed by all ages.
