Local baking fans are invited to cast their vote to find the Best Cake in the Cotswolds at an exciting new public event in Bath on Wednesday 2 September

Does your local bakery make the best cake in the Cotswolds? This year, to celebrate the return of The Great British Bake Off we are holding a one-off event to judge the ‘Best Cake in the Cotswolds’. Whether it’s a humble Victoria sponge, a celebration cake or a signature bake, we need you to take the taste test and cast your vote.

On Wednesday 2nd September from 11am to 4pm, head to the top of Old Bond Street in Bath (outside GAP) to indulge in a spot of free cake. For the first time ever, Cotswold Life will be holding a blind taste test of showstopping cakes from bakeries across the county and asking the public to vote for their favourite. At the end of the day the votes will be counted and one winning cake will be crowned the Best Cake in the Cotswolds.
