Laughter and a lifelong love of learning, collaboration and camaraderie, drive and determination, inspiration and involvement, aspiration and achievement

Head: Mrs Rebecca Dougall MA

Laughter and a lifelong love oflearning, collaboration and camaraderie, drive and determination, inspiration and involvement, aspiration and achievement - those are the qualities that we hope will emerge from the snapshots of life here at the Royal High School Bath. We are a leading independent Day and Boarding school of choice for girls aged 3-18.

Froma group of giggling, three year old girls holding hands in the playground of our outstanding Ofsted rated Nursery; to a revitalised Junior Schoolwhere lifelong friendships are forged and sporting and academic triumphs shared: toa passion for continued discovery and exploring new horizons at our exceptionally high-achieving Senior Schooland onto ourdynamic Sixth Form College buzzing with mature, confident, gregarious young women, the RHS journeyis a seamless one, with four life-enhancing experiences along the way.

Academic rigour and a strong work ethic underpin ambition and achievement in a school, which champions tolerance, responsibility, commitment and respect for both the individual and society. Our girls discover what they can do well and learn to do it better than they ever thought possible. Those talents are nurtured by dedicated teaching staff and celebrated by their friends, their peers and by the school community as a whole.

Glittering statistics are one thing (*and we certainly have those), but more important is the fact that your daughter will be respected for who she is, what she is good at, what she wants to be good at, what she wants todo with her life and where she wants to go.

This all-through, all-girls education is unique in Bath. We embrace all-round excellence and help every single girl to be happy and to be who she wants to be. We do this with a rich and exciting curriculum, with every opportunity for girls tofocus on their strengths but also to developtheir skills and talents acrossthe broadest academic, social and personal spectrum. The school develops the confidence, capabilities and character needed to underpin success at university, throughout careers and in achieving ambitionsin every aspect of life.
