Following the successful launch of ‘In Conversation at Calcot’ events in 2018, which saw Dolly Alderton, Bryony Gordon and Sophia Money-Coutts speak about love, life lessons, literature and everything in between, the series is set to continue in 2019. To usher in the new year, an evening with Ella Mills, the founder of Deliciously Ella, will take place at Calcot in the Cotswolds on Thursday, January 24 2019.

Ella Mills, founder of Deliciously Ella, is an award-winning cookery author and entrepreneur, and a champion of eating well. She started off with her popular blog,, which has had over 110 million hits in the last three years. Her first book came out in January 2015 and was the bestselling debut cookbook ever in the UK and a New York Times bestseller. Her fifth book, ‘The Plant Based Cookbook’ has become the fastest selling Vegan cookbook of all time. Ella has created a #1 app and, with her husband, Matthew Mills, and opened a deli in the UK, as well as launching a food product line sold in retailers across the UK which includes snacks, cereals and frozen meals.

The evening with Ella will provide an opportunity for Calcot guests and Cotswolds locals alike to hear about the Deliciously Ella journey firsthand, learn more about Ella’s plant-based diet and latest cookbook, as well as picking up healthy tips and recipes to start the new year as they mean to go on. Following a Q&A, guests will have the chance to ask Ella their own questions as well.

The event will take place in Calcot’s recently enhanced Barn from 6.30pm and will include a welcome juice or mocktail and a delicious selection of plant based dishes to sample from Ella’s new cookbook. Guests will also receive a signed copy of ‘The Plant-Based Cookbook’ (RRP £25).
