Worcestershire energy storage specialists, Rock Clean Energy, is inviting local manufacturers to attend its free seminar ‘Battery Storage for Business’, held in partnership with the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce, in April

Taking place at Worcestershire’s County Cricket Ground on Thursday April 19, the Rock Clean Energy led seminar will provide local firms with the opportunity to understand the cost-saving benefits of battery storage - with a particular focus on how larger energy users can protect their business against unexpected power failures, whilst generating additional revenue.

Founded in 2017, Rock Clean Energy is the sister firm of Worcester based Independent Connections Provider, Rock Power Connections. As specialist High Voltage [HV] electrical engineers, the Rock Team already have the experience and capability to install batteries on primary substations.

On discussing the benefits of battery storage for large energy users, and the forthcoming business seminar, Chris said: “The Battery Storage for Business Seminar provides the opportunity for local businesses to understand the cost-saving benefits of installing their very own battery storage solution – not only reducing electricity bills, but providing a back-up supply in the event of a power failure, ensuring that production and operations are not affected.”

“What’s more, Rock Clean Energy is working with energy storage market leader, Tesla and aggregator KiWi Power enabling us to provide businesses across the County with fully funded Tesla Battery Energy Rock Clean Energy Storage Systems – whilst generating revenue from the transmission and distribution networks.”

The event is supported by the local Chamber of Commerce to help Businesses understand the benefits of battery storage – where Rock Clean Energy have a proven track record in financing, supplying, installing and maintaining battery storage solutions for firms across the West Midlands region.

Olivia Williams, Events and Training Manager for Hereford and Worcester Chamber of Commerce added: “We strongly encourage the many manufacturing businesses from across the two counties to attend this free event, to gain an understanding of how battery storage can reduce their business costs and provide a backup energy supply.”

Taking place between 8 – 9.30am, the Battery Storage for Business Seminar is free to attend, and open to Chamber of Commerce Members and Non-Members.
