Witney Business & Innovation Centre (Witney BIC) owned by Blenheim Palace and managed by Oxford Innovation, is entering an exciting new chapter as it announces the appointment of Alli Anderson as centre manager and opens its doors to The Studio, a newly created space for up and coming businesses to have a permanent desk with access to a host of benefits usually enjoyed by larger companies.

Working across a number of Oxford Innovation’s business and innovation centres since 2007, Alli Anderson has been promoted from assistant centre manager to centre manager as she takes up the helm at Witney BIC. Ali as new centre manager has also been responsible for creating The Studio, having refurbished a ground floor office to make room for seven studio desks.

Ms Anderson explains: “We have received a high demand from businesses in West Oxfordshire who are looking for a professional space to work accompanied with the benefits of a serviced office, but who are too early on their journey to commit to an office of their own. Eventually, The Studio customers will grow into our other offices and in the meantime, can have access to resources and the professional image they are looking for.” The Studio will provide customers with a private desk, high speed Internet, privacy screens and a telephone. Customers will also have access to a shared kitchen, easy on-site parking, mail handling and discounted meeting rooms.

Witney BIC is currently home to a variety of micro, small and medium sized businesses including Smooga, HIT Training, Data Centre Response Ltd and an on-site women only gym called Body Evo. The centre also has a choice of virtual and shared office packages.

Swan Lake. We know the music, we know the iconic imagery of the beautiful ballerina dressed as a swan, but I’m guessing that without reading the libretto in the program, most people don’t know the story. Which is why the audience relies on the dancers to tell us.
