The Visit Oxfordshire Group Travel Desk launched its new Group Services programme for 2014, intended as a ‘one-stop-shop’ for group organisers both domestic and overseas. Visit Oxfordshire now provides help and advice with planning a group visit, itinerary ideas, discounted ticketing from groups, a free accommodation booking service, group dining offers and welcome packs (including souvenirs) for groups.

Available for the first time are packages with a range of venues, such as the Saxon tower of St Michael at the Northgate, designed to give groups the best possible experience and making the process a stress-free operation. New group experiences range from the Temporary Exhibitions Tour at the Ashmolean Museum, with 10% discount voucher in the museum shop and café, to the VIP Tour, which includes a champagne tea in the Ashmolean’s unique rooftop restaurant.

Group discounted entry and tour of Blenheim Palace and gardens is another service provided by the Group Travel Desk - with the added flexibility of either a ‘stay together’ tour or a ‘wander at will’ arrangement.

‘Where’s good for groups to eat in Oxford?’ – the most frequent question can also be answered by Visit Oxfordshire Group Services and what sets this service apart are the striking venues – from the Malmaison former prison to an Oxford college, from a rooftop to a riverside – the location is as memorable as the hospitality.

But the locations are not all in Oxford itself, refreshments at locations such as the Deddington Arms Hotel or Eynsham Hall, and available.

Said Digna Martinez, Walking Tours and Groups Manager, ’We are delighted with our new range of services and partnerships which will ensure group leaders are offered a smooth, seamless and unforgettable visit to the wonderful county of Oxfordshire, with the city of spires at its heart.’

The Visit Oxfordshire Group Travel Desk will be showcasing its new services at Excursions, the South West Travel Show, and the TSE Group Travel fairs at Kew Gardens and Heythrop Park.
