UBCUK is delighted to have won the prestigious BCA ‘Group Business Centre of the Year Award 2017’ for its Cirencester Business Centre in Gloucestershire

The announcement was made at the Annual Business Centre Association (BCA) Industry Awards Gala Dinner, which took place on Friday November 24 2017 at Sheraton Grand London Park Lane hotel.

UBCUK’s Cirencester Business Centre is based at Cirencester Office Park, and has been providing flexible serviced offices to local and national businesses since 2008.

Last year, Jenna Paynter took over the running of the centre alongside assistant manager Alison Poole and together, the team has transformed the office centre into a thriving, community-focused business hub.

Richard Johnson, Managing Director of UBCUK, said: “I am incredibly proud of Jenna and Alison for winning the 2017 BCA Group Business Centre of the Year Award for our Cirencester Business Centre. This is an incredible, but not a surprising achievement, acknowledging what a fantastic job Jenna and Alison do in supporting their clients.”

Established in 1989, the BCA is a UK-based membership association for the business centre industry, which upholds standards and champions excellence across the network. The BCA Industry Awards is a long-running programme that has become increasingly competitive as the flexible workspace industry continues to grow.

The BCA awards are based exclusively on client nominations and are judged on how well the centre adds value and supports clients’ businesses. UBC’s Cirencester Business Centre received glowing testimonials from every client in the building.

Jenna Paynter, Centre Manager at UBCUK Cirencester, said:

“This is such a prestigious award and I am so proud that together with my assistant Alison, we have put UBCUK Cirencester firmly on the map. We have amazing clients and we are so very grateful for their support in putting us forward for this award. We are thrilled to be voted the winner amongst such strong competition on a national level.

“Customer service is paramount to us and we aim to nurture and support all of our clients and their businesses. This includes offering complimentary business clinics, workshops, seminars, marketing blogs and networking events; all of which are held here at UBC Cirencester.”

In addition to business events, UBCUK Cirencester regularly participates in fundraising events for charity. In July 2017, Jenna and several clients of the business centre took part in a 24-hour relay race at Cirencester Park on behalf of children’s charity, KidsOut.

Jenna added: “What an amazing way to end the year. Thank you so much to everyone who nominated us – here’s to another brilliant year in 2018!”
