A Wantage accountancy firm which specialises in helping small businesses grow has been internationally recognised at the Investors In People (IIP) Awards

The Best Newcomer award follows Inca’s IIP Silver accreditation gained in 2016 held by just 10 other accountancy firms in the UK. Inca is also one of the only employers in Oxfordshire to be accredited by IIP.

Lesley Carson, Head of Practice and co-founder of Inca, said: “We’re delighted to become an award-winner with Investors In People and there isn’t a better accolade to win than one that recognises the commitment we have to developing the Inca team.

“It is also a fantastic achievement for a small business to be applauded on an international stage for our approach to people management.”

IIP judges recognised the support gives to clients is mirrored in its people management strategies, particularly training and development.

Paul Devoy, Head of Investors in People, said: “This year’s Investors in People Awards were the biggest and best to date. It was fantastic to see so many worthy organisations nominated for outperforming in their sector, demonstrating great people management practice and a commitment to staff development. Congratulations to Inca on its impressive win.”

Inca has offices in Lydford, near Wantage, and Henley.
