The University of Gloucestershire to offer an MSc in Cyber Security

The Masters course will cover all aspects of cyber security, including network, computer and information security
The University of Gloucestershire is offering an MSc in Cyber Security.
Computer science and IT graduates who want a career in cyber security management are being recruited for the course.
Senior Lecturer in Cyber Security Dr Hassan Chizari is to lead the programme, available for full or part-time study.
Modules include network security, advanced AI and digital forensic elements, all designed to focus on business applications and links with industry so graduates are ready for the workplace.
"The course covers all aspects of cyber security, including network, computer and information security," said a spokesman for the university.
"Alongside this, the course focuses on the business context, so that students can progress their careers more rapidly and aim specifically at management
"By having GDPR in action, there will be more roles in companies for information security managers, which makes the MSc Cyber Security a brilliant opportunity for a huge market need."
Students need at least a 2:2 in their first degree to apply.
