The latest appointments at Lodders support the strategy and ambition to become the law firm of choice in the Midlands and South West

Dispute Resolution law specialist Ellie Crofts is one of six new starters at local law firm Lodders.

A Property Litigation specialist, Ellie joins as Associate in Lodders’ Dispute Resolution practice, which is led by partner Jane Senior.

The firm has also made appointments in its Real Estate, Private Client, Corporate and Commercial, and Family Law teams.

Ellie joins Lodders from Wright Hassall, Leamington Spa, where she worked for 14 years and was most recently a Property Litigation Associate Solicitor. At Lodders, she will handle all property related issues, including beneficial interest claims, service charge disputes, lease extensions, and commercial landlord and tenant matters.

Commenting on her appointment, Ellie said: “I have been looking to make a move to a well-respected and established law firm with a growing property litigation offering, and Lodders delivers on all counts. The firm has a fantastic reputation for the quality of its solicitors, client service and legal advice, and for being a great place to work.

“I bring ten years of experience in residential leasehold management, property and land dispute resolution, acting for a range of clients from private individuals to FTSE 100 companies.”

Priscilla Macleod joins as a Solicitor in the firm’s top-ranking Real Estate practice and affiliate STEP member Alexia Haines joins as a Solicitor in Lodder’s Private Client practice from Gateley Plc, Birmingham.

Lodders’ other new hires are Katie Mann, who joins as a Trainee Solicitor with her first seat in the Private Client practice, Matthew Harris as a Paralegal in the Corporate and Commercial team, and Kate Farrelly as a Paralegal in the Family Law team, which was awarded the highest band 1 position for family lawyers in Birmingham by the UK Chambers Directory last year.

Commenting on the firm’s raft of new hires, Lodders’ managing partner Paul Mourton said: “The firm has seen sustained growth in work across the board, and an increase in client instructions as a result. Our latest high-calibre appointments support our strategy and ambition to become the law firm of choice in the Midlands and South West, and our commitment to developing the next generation of legal experts. Each of these latest appointments will strengthen and add value to our high quality client service offering.”
