Following 14 years at Savills, Catherine Scandrett joins the residential sales team in Banbury

Savills has appointed Catherine Scandrett as a senior negotiator to its residential sales team in Banbury.

An experienced local agent, Catherine has worked for Savills for 14 years, after joining as a graduate and going on to qualify as a chartered surveyor in 2007.

Catherine spent ten years with the Savills rural agency team, specialising in the valuation, purchase and sale of rural properties and in 2015 moved to the Banbury office to handle the valuation of a variety of property across Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire.

Commenting on her move into Savills residential team she said: “After many years in the rural property sector, I am excited to apply my skills and experience in valuation, sales and negotiation to Savills residential sales division. Savills has a fantastic business here and having worked closely alongside the team in Banbury for many years, I am thrilled to focus my attention on the local town and country markets.

“Having grown up in Warwickshire, and lived and worked in Banbury for many years, I am privileged to have had the opportunity to build my career with a leading national business in a part of the country that I know and love.”

Nick Rudge, head of Savills Banbury office, leads its residential sales team and comments: “I'm delighted to welcome Catherine to our team. She brings with her a wealth of property experience and knows our area well. Given that we cover such an extensive geography, taking in Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Gloucestershire, Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire, this is a real asset.

“Catherine has already hit the ground running, following a remarkably busy start to the year. Traditionally a quiet time for the market, and especially given the continued uncertainty nationally, we have seen a positive mindset among buyers, particularly so in the prime markets, and for the right property, they are willing to commit. We're pleased to be in a good position to help these buyers, having added a number of very good quality homes to our portfolio recently.”
