“We’re delighted to have been Highly Commended for Small Business of the Year at 2018’s Chamber Awards. It’s a fantastic testament to our determination in becoming one of the UK’s leading Independent Connections Providers, whilst celebrating our quality approach to electrical connections and customer service.”

Worcestershire based independent connections provider, Rock Power Connections, has been highly commended at the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards for ‘Small Business of the Year’.

With the awards ceremony taking place at the Worcester Arena on Thursday June 7, the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards celebrates the success of local businesses across 14 different awards categories on an annual basis.

Impressing judges with its excellent company culture, dedication to customer service and high growth, Rock Power Connections were delighted to scoop the highly commended accolade, following its win of ‘Most Promising New Business’ in 2015.

Kev Sankar, Director of Rock Power Connections confirmed: “We’re delighted to have been Highly Commended for Small Business of the Year at 2018’s Chamber Awards. It’s a fantastic testament to our determination in becoming one of the UK’s leading Independent Connections Providers, whilst celebrating our quality approach to electrical connections and customer service.”

Headquartered in Buckholt Business Park in Worcester, Rock Power Connections specialises in new connections and upgrades to the electricity distribution network for commercial and industrial sites across the UK.

Founded by Directors Reece James, Kev Sankar and Matt Crampton in 2012, the family run business has experienced exponential growth since inception and was also shortlisted for the ‘High Growth Business of the Year’ Award.

‘The success of Rock Power Connections is determined by every single person of our hard-working team’ continued Kev. “For the last 6 years, we have continued to prosper with high growth and we’re honoured to have reached the final of not one, but two awards, proving hard-work really does pay off.”

The Chamber of Commerce Business Awards provides local businesses with the excellent opportunity to raise their profile, celebrate their successes and boost staff morale. Over 120 businesses applied to be considered in each category, with only 5 businesses making the final shortlists.

Other winners of the night include ISO Quality Services, OLPRO, Midlands Air Ambulance and Vision Labs.
