One of the fastest growing recruitment specialists in the UK, Omega Resource Group celebrates a record-breaking year

Award-winning Omega Resource Group, one of the fastest growing recruitment specialists in the UK, opened a new office in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, following their most successful financial year. Rugby star Tom Marshall helped unveil the new office in Tewkesbury for Omega Resource Group positioned as ‘Midlands gateway’.

The new site, located beside their current facility, was officially inaugurated by New Zealand Rugby star Tom Marshall. Founded in 1998, over the years Omega Resource Group has become one of the leading resourcing solutions provider in the UK following significant contract wins within its priority markets, leading to the expansion of its team and the redevelopment of its brand and website.

Held at the Courtyard Tewkesbury Business Park, the launch ceremony included an official opening of the site and a chance for prospective employees to attend and engage with the company’s dedicated recruitment consultants. Presented by Tom Marshall, a prize draw was also held for hot air balloon flights and tickets to watch Gloucester Rugby at the Kingsholm stadium.

Co-founder and CEO of Omega Resource Group, Alan Beresford, commented on the milestone: “2016 has been the biggest year in our company’s history. We’ve surpassed financial results of previous years, expanded our team and launched our new offices. Our achievement is a testament to all the hard work put in by our staff in providing an unmatched service for our customers over the last decade.”

Omega Resource Group is part of the corporate Group, Passionate About People Ltd, also incorporating RPO specialist Datum RPO and Omega Engineering Services. The company announced 63% year on year growth with revenue increasing from £39m in 2014 to £63m in 2015. This extremely dynamic period in the history of the company will realise further revenue growth of circa 30% in FY16 (12 months to 30/6/16) to £80M+. The move of Omega Resource Group follows the move of Omega Engineering Services earlier in 2016 to 13,000 sq ft facility at Cheltenham Trade Park, Gloucestershire.

“The move into new offices highlights our business growth and commitment to delivering the best service for our clients. This office importantly acts as a gateway to the Midlands industrial and technical client base and plays a pivotal role in delivering outstanding services to employers and candidates,” added James Strickland, Co-founder and Board Member of Passionate About People Group Ltd. We have a solid reputation built on retaining relationships and winning new contracts. We’re looking forward to exciting times ahead for the company.”

With UK offices in Stonehouse, Liverpool and further international locations in the Middle East, Omega Resource Group is one of the largest recruitment solutions provider headquartered in the South West region, recognised in the Top 25 of the fastest growing businesses in Gloucestershire 2016 and was shortlisted as Growth Business of the Year in the Gloucestershire Business Awards 2016.
