Barron De-Rose, a new Associate Partner of St. James’s Place based in Cheltenham has recently set up De Rose Wealth Management providing bespoke expert advice to individuals and businesses covering Gloucestershire and the South West of England.

Principle Barron DeRose is a highly professional adviser, who has been providing expert financial advice on Family Protection, Taxation Efficiency, Investment Planning and Retirement Planning for the last 12 years and has 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Barron holds the Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII) Diploma in Financial Planning. Furthermore, he has achieved the highest CII Qualification available in both Pension Planning and Taxation and Trusts. Barron adopts a holistic approach to all areas of financial planning. He passionately believes that expert advice can only be provided when a full and comprehensive understanding of a client’s personal and financial details has been established. Once this has been confirmed, only then can a client’s financial objectives and aspirations be put into context and a suitable advice solution provided. This detailed approach is the foundation on which long term relationships are built.

Throughout his long and successful career, Barron has dealt with a wide demographic of clients with vastly differing needs and objectives. He has a long history of dealing with Educational Professionals and has a clear understanding of both Teacher’s and Lecturer’s Pension schemes. Barron prides himself on being a Retirement Solutions specialist with a principle aim of providing financial security & ensuring funds are managed effectively to help enable a richly deserved and fulfilled retirement.

Barron has extensive knowledge and experience in advising in each of the following areas:

  • Family Protection - Life Cover, Income Protection and Critical Illness
  • Business Protection - Relevant Life Plans, Keyman Cover and Share Holder Protection
  • Investment for Capital Growth/Income – ISA’s, Unit Trusts & Investment Bonds
  • Taxation Efficiency – Specialist tax efficient investment vehicles
  • Retirement Planning and Solutions – Personal Pensions, Annuities and Drawdown Options
  • Inheritance Tax Planning

Values

Barron firmly believes that Trust is the basis of any worthwhile long term relationship. Trust can’t be established overnight and therefore it is paramount that every client receives regular contact and reviews on their policies and investments, so that they are kept fully informed of fund performance and any changes to legislation that affects their holdings. The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds you select and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than you invested. The levels and bases of taxation and reliefs from taxation can change at any time. The value of any tax relief depends on individual circumstances.
