Shackleton & Wintle and WJL Electrical announced their merger at the end of last year, bringing together two of Gloucestershire’s leading technical specialists to expand their offering

Local businesses joined friends and family of Cheltenham-based companies Shackleton & Wintle and WJL Electrical at Malmaison Hotel to celebrate the relaunch of the two companies under the new joint brand, SW&L.

The event saw the four company directors unveil the brand new look, which includes changes to the logo, colour scheme and name to reflect the companies’ joint future as SW&L.

Shackleton & Wintle and WJL Electrical announced their merger at the end of last year, bringing together two of Gloucestershire’s leading technical specialists to expand their offering. The new executive team comprises Shackleton & Wintle directors John Rogers, Malcolm Faulkner, Andy Richards and Wesley Lane of WJL.

“We wanted to bring together our clients and friends to celebrate an exciting future for the business and show off our new look,” says John Rogers, Managing Director at SW&L. “The whole team has got behind the united SW&L brand, which we feel reflects the 40-year heritage of the company and the quality of work we offer.”

“We’re looking forward to a continued period of growth thanks to our merger and subsequent expansion,” says Wes Lane, Electrical Director at SW&L. “Hopefully, our customers will be impressed by the effort we have put into our new brand and offering, which enables us to provide an integrated plumbing, heating and electrical service for homeowners, letting agents, builders and developers under one roof.”
