“The firm has received a number of excellent plaudits in many of the professions’ independent guides,” adds Martin Green, Lodders’ senior partner, “and to have so many of our lawyers individually recognised and recommended is testament to their hard work and diligence.”

Family and real estate law specialists at law firm Lodders have been ranked as amongst the best in the country by the UK’s leading independent guide to the legal profession, Chambers UK.

The latest edition of the guide, which ranks the UK’s legal firms and individual lawyers based on their expertise and client feedback, has awarded Beverley Morris, a Partner in its dedicated Family Law team in Birmingham, the highest recognition for her family and matrimonial advice.

Sources quoted in the directory describe Beverley as a ‘fantastic family lawyer who works incredibly hard’. According to Chambers, she remains a pre-eminent name in family law, providing expert counsel on financial cases, as well as advising on private law children matters.

Lodders’ Birmingham-based Family Law team also receives the highest Band 1 position in this year’s Chambers, with sources saying, ‘they have a very good reputation for being robust and attracting high quality work’.

Also retaining top Band 1 ranking is Lodders’ Agriculture and Rural Affairs practice in the Chambers round-up of firms in Coventry and the surrounding areas. It gives the team particular recognition for its ‘good, efficient, progressive, very knowledgeable’ advice, and that ‘each of the individuals are experts in their field’.

Head of the firm’s Real Estate practice Paul Mourton is recognised for his real estate expertise, with clients citing an appreciation of his ‘good legal knowledge, good market knowledge, and practical advice’. He also retains Band 2 ranking for his work in the South West.

The firm’s Real Estate Partner Nick East, is also highly recognised in the guide, and awarded Band 2 ranking for his real estate specialism in the West Midlands. Chambers reports that clients describe him as ‘very knowledgeable’ and that he is hailed for giving ‘advice which makes recommendations on what we can do, which we value’.

Further recognition for Lodders’ Family Law team includes Band 2 ranking for its Associate Caroline Dresden who is described as being ‘very good at the complex financial side of things’, whilst Vivienne Middleton is said to be an ‘Associate to watch’, as ‘fantastic’ and ‘held in high regard’.

The firm’s Ian Flavell, a specialist in estate planning, trusts, wills and tax planning for owners of landed estates in particular, maintains his ranking for the second year, as do its Charity Law specialist and Partner Mark Lewis, and Real Estate Litigation Partner Jane Senior.

Lodders’ senior partner Martin Green, says the firm’s rankings in the latest Chambers UK Directory are a ‘marker’ of Lodders’ sustained performance, comprehensive legal skills and exceptional service offering:

“Chambers is respected for its integrity, independence and objectivity in researching and finding the very best lawyers in their fields, and it is a fantastic achievement for Lodders and so many of our most experienced lawyers to be highly recognised once again. It is worthy recognition of our team’s talent, exceptional work, client service and quality of advice provided by the firm and its individuals each and every day.”

Earlier this year, Lodders’ Private Client practice scooped top honours by being voted the area’s top Private Client practice by Chambers UK’s High Net Worth Guide.

“The firm has received a number of excellent plaudits in many of the professions’ independent guides,” adds Martin, “and to have so many of our lawyers individually recognised and recommended is testament to their hard work and diligence.”
