The Juice Recruitment Team with Mike Catt

With offices in Cheltenham, Bristol & bath, Juice have achieved momentous growth in 2014 and 2015 with further exciting growth plans in place for 2016.

With the launch of new branches and new team members on its agenda, Emma Summers, Managing Director of Juice wanted to start the New Year ensuring her team had a winning, hungry and progressive spirit in order to achieve this year’s 2016 objectives. Emma states: ‘The key to a winning team is leadership, a common goal, a thorough plan, to know the rules of the game and ensure you have 100% involvement and inclusion from everyone in the business.‘

With Emma’s love of rugby, she took her theory one step further and she teamed up with former England Rugby coach, Mike Catt.

Catt’s finest moment in an England shirt came in 2003, when he was part of the side that won the World Cup in Sydney. Awarded an MBE in the wake of England’s 2003 World Cup triumph, he received an OBE in the New Year Honours list at the end of 2010. Catt moved on to be one of Stuart Lancaster’s Management Team, coaching England ahead of the 2015 World Cup.

Catt took on the Juice team for some business coaching and motivated the Juice team by beginning his session with awarding each team member with their very own customized rugby shirt which they proudly wore ahead of the game. Catt then empowered the team with a fantastic insight into the England team’s training regime and what it takes to win!

In the driving wind and rain, Catt then put the Juice team through its paces on the pitch at Calcot Manor, Tetbury. With rugby tackles, scrums, relays and passes, the team were wet, muddy but my goodness were they fired up and hungry. Catt said, ‘What a fantastic team, just full of energy, team spirit and up for anything. Emma was thrilled with the day and said it was great to bring the whole team together and spend time directing the team towards the ultimate vision of the organisation.
