Start and Grow Enterprise programme

‘Grow your Business’ is a free intensive two-day workshop to help new entrepreneurs take their start-ups to the next level

The Start and Grow Enterprise is running a fully-funded two-day course for businesses, delivered by expert coaches from the Business Kitchen at the Cirencester Growth Hub on October 18 and 25.

Covering business strategy, finance, marketing, legal issues and HR; attendees will leave with an action plan of positive changes to make in their business.

The course is a partnership between the Business Kitchen and the University of Gloucestershire’s Start and Grow Enterprise project, which is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). Start and Grow Enterprise has been running for a year, and has helped nearly 400 local entrepreneurs and new enterprises to start and develop their businesses through free training, events, networks and resources.

The project has worked with Gill Smith and Nigel Knowlman at the Business Kitchen since their early days, and have received a great deal of positive results from this collaboration.

A previous delegate has told us: “The days were a week apart, which worked perfectly because it meant we didn’t take too much time out of our working week and we could go away and process all the information from the first day before coming back for more. Gill and Nigel are a wealth of knowledge. There were so many ‘aha!’ moments and I came away full of ideas, enthusiasm and confidence. Gill and Nigel create a supportive and open atmosphere and I met some really interesting people. We were from all different backgrounds and Gill and Nigel ensured that everyone got the most out of the experience.

Booking for the course is essential as spaces are limited. The course starts from 9:30 at Cirencester Growth Hub, Thursday, October 18 and concludes on Thursday, October 25.
