Finalists revealed at the Worcestershire Apprenticeship Awards 2017

Thirty of Worcestershire’s best apprentices, employers and training providers have been announced as finalists at the Worcestershire Apprenticeship Awards 2017.

A total of 12 awards are up for grabs including four categories awarded to celebrate those who employ apprentices, including the Newcomer Apprenticeship Employer of the Year award, with a shortlist of AW Digital, Hogarths Stone Manor Hotel and Ping Marketing.

Other finalists include Bradley Haynes Law, Buzz Electrical Ltd and Green Lighting Ltd for Small Apprenticeship Employer of the Year and Amada UK, Southco Manufacturing Ltd and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust for Large Apprenticeship Employer of the Year.

Gary Woodman, Chief Executive of Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership, said: “We know that Worcestershire’s Apprenticeship employers go to great lengths to support the younger generation to learn and excel in the world of work, and to provide them with the opportunities to achieve their ambitions.

“I look forward to meeting with all employer finalists as part of a record audience at this year’s awards.”

The Worcestershire Apprenticeship Awards take place this November at the Tree Tops Pavilion at West Midland Safari Park. The ceremony is set to attract a record audience of 350 people and will be presented by leading live comedian Mark Watson.
