EXPORT BUSINESS BOOMING FOR GLOUCESTER DENTAL SPECIALIST

Prima Dental is a world leader in the production of precision dental equipment. It exports to over 100 countries world-wide, deriving 82 per cent of its total business from overseas markets and 52 per cent of its sales in the USA. It is also a market leader in the UK.
At its Gloucester facility, Prima Dental design and engineer a range of highly specialised products, including the world’s finest dental drills, which allow dentists to work more quickly and accurately, ensuring increased patient comfort.
Prima Dental has worked closely with UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) to grow its business oversees and the results have been spectacular, delivering double digit sales growth year on year in some markets. Prima Dental has used UKTI’s services to help gain a full understanding of its target markets and identify trends and sales opportunities. UKTI programmes and services they have made use of include the Overseas Market Introduction Service, Passport to Export, Gateway to Global Growth and the Tradeshow Access Programme.
