Caring for Communities and People (CCP) has hit the high notes with its latest new recruit. Camilla Lewington an established professional vocalist, has been appointed as CCP’s Communications and Engagement Officer. In this key role, Camilla will be responsible for managing and supporting the charity’s existing corporate partners, developing new ones as well as helping increase awareness and understanding of the difference that the charity makes to peoples’ lives.

Commenting on the appointment, Cordell Ray, Chief Executive, commented: “I am absolutely delighted that Camilla has joined CCP. She has been connected with CCP for some time now and the passion and enthusiasm she has for what we do is inspirational. This combined with her excellent communication skills and creative nature will I believe take the relationships we have with our corporate partners to the next level. We are eternally grateful for all the support we receive and the way in which this enhances the services we can offer to our clients”.

Camilla commented on her new role: “This is a dream job for me. I am a massive fan of what CCP do, the difference they make to peoples’ live and I think the proposition we have for businesses or organisations that are looking to engage in community support or charitable activity is second to none. I have been hugely impressed by the professionalism, expertise and commitment of all the staff I have met within CCP and we have some great stories to tell. I am very much looking forward to meeting all our partners, finding out how we can strengthen these relationships further and also making new connections.”
